Bookcases

Click on the thumbnail of each photograph you wish to view.

If you are viewing these photos one at a time as they appear in Gallery view, you can see more details when you click on “Show Picture List.” This will allow you to enlarge each photograph individually. When viewing each photo individually, click on “Full Size” at the lower left allowing you to examine the photo displayed as a stand-alone image in your web browser. From this vantage you can save the photograph to your own computer for even closer examination in the comfort of wherever you are.

Here is how: Merely click the right mouse button while placing the cursor over the image. A menu will pop up. Please click on (what in most cases will be the third option) “Save Image As…” A file management window from your very own computer’s operating system will appear. Do not be afraid. The contents of the window that appears will be the default directory to which your current browser saves all files, or it will be the directory you were playing in most recently. Again, do not be afraid or ashamed. Nobody cares. Honestly, nobody. Neither should you. Feel free to change the directory or create a new special directory at your whim. I only mention it because I’m starting to get bored with writing this, and you’re probably getting bored reading. That reminds me… I heard a really good joke last week. It was the best one I’d heard in a very long time. I can’t remember the last time I heard a joke before that. Anyway, the natural boring alpha numeric file name of the photograph will appear in “File Name” field of the above mentioned window. You may change the name of the file as your mood or other forces, controllable or otherwise, dictate. Or not. The point of saving these pictures is for your closer examination using your favorite photo viewing utility. Zoom in as close as possible on every nuance of grain and curvature of these book cases. For scale comparisons, we recommend you try to find on one of the shelves a book you may already own, recognize or with which your are familiar.
