Tiger Woods Hospitalized and Released
I'm amazed, absolutely astonished at the instant out pouring of concern, sympathy and acknowledgement of prayer on his behalf. No mention of the family. But, hey, they are not Tiger Wood.

Black Friday deals or no deals no big deal
I think it unfair the other days during the week of Black Friday are not associated with colors as is that particular Friday. To my knowledge, such is the case in our culture ever aspiring toward a colorblind society. And this is the part of the paragraph where meanings become muddled and mangled, bubbling and splatting in this unstirred cauldron of thought.
balloon boy throws up… just wait till he grows up
Cool name, Falcon. Too bad he’ll always be known as Balloon Boy. We could pun ourselves to death with this one: his meteoric rise to fame; his ballooning popularity still on the rise; true to his (Falcon’s) name, his story soars… it has wings; his daddy’s world may crash and burn, be left smoldering. It’s [...]

Retrieving the casserole dish
I stopped by last night (really it was this morning) and banged on your door till my knuckles bled. I found the brownies I left on your porch (a couple of weeks ago!) untouched except for the green stuff gone psychedelic and all fuzzy growing on them. I don’t think I’ve seen a better medium [...]
New Feature for Sacred Clone: Ambiguous Twits
Twitter, for all it is and should be and was and shall be, gushes as a source of quirky, telegraphic, snarky, and best of all, ambiguous language. I shall regularly feature some of the Tweets that catch my eye because of their multiple meanings, poetic flavorings, metaphorical potency and because of any other thing about [...]
Madoff certainly lives up to his name
madoff.jpg ( Image)
Madoff/Made Off. Finally performed a Google search on the name and the play on words the name allows. As if this label was something he grew into over a lifetime, inescapably, his actions described his name, phonetically anyway. Finally this part of his life has come to a past tense, the part that [...]
As pirate stories go… this is one of them
They pulled it off!
A shout out and a huge congratulations to the brave Somali pirates who pulled a cool $3,000,000 ransom from elegantly gloved hands of the Sirius Star owners. The release of that big boat carrying $100 million in crude oil came immediately after an exquisitely executed parachute-drop delivery of what amounts to a [...]
